Re: N2O is crazy....

It could happen if he was going too fast and lost control sure. My grandmother was going about 40mph and rolled her car 5 times when she had to slam on the brakes because some punk kids braked too soon and didn't know how to drive. So I wouldn't blame it on N2O and more on not having good control or suspension.
I'm pretty sure it's illegal, not sure about everywhere but probably. I know I've heard of quite a few people getting tickets for it.

someone told me that its not illegal to have installed, but it is to use it. which makes no sense at all, but anyways. im not sure about here in arkansas. you could try asking any local stores that sell it or a cop. but then, some cops will tell you anything you put on your car besides an air freshener is illegal, so that might not work. forget i said anything at all.

Go read up on your local laws. In a lot of places it is illegal to have a cylinder of compressed gas in the car unless you have a sticker stating that, and unless it is upright. It is also illegal in a lot of places to have a nitrous line hooked up to the bottle in the car.

You can be ticketed for it here, but who opens your trunk to look for it?

Most police do not ticket for it here.
