Weird comparo rsx v tl (bang 4 buck)
Me and a good friend of mine have been fighting about this for a long time. It seems every time we don't agree on something it goes back to which is a better Acura for an 18-20 year old... Im RSX he's TL...He says the rsx is a crappy lil 4-banger with no torque and pure ricer and its better to spend an extra 10g (Cdn) on a TL...I say 4 doors is for grandfathers unless its a wrx or evo and I could put 10g into an rsx and just crush his stock TL
I just wanna know what you guys think which is better bang for dollar for somebody that age

Driving nice looking RSX (by myself) and having just enough money for insurance or Driving a TL (with my wife and kids) and not having enough money for insurance ??? I'll say RSX for a young guy, besides with the 10Gs you'll be saving you could use it for the RSX, Besides A RSX with 10Gs worth in mods etc.. will always be better than a Stock TL JK about the wife and kids (don't have any) just an example Last edited by LXDSMXL; 09-09-2004 at 06:58 PM.

I found that the TL handled like an Accord, while the RSX-S handled more like a sports car. The RSX is much lighter, and was built to drive fast, the TL was built for middle age Americans who want something nicer then a V6 Accord LX. With that 10g worth of mods, the RSX-S could drive circles around a TL.

Glad Im not the only one with this kind od midset...Ive never actually driven a TL, but its good to know other ppl do think the rsx is better in this situation...now if only I had waited for the 05 with 210hp

in this situtation (economical/fast vehicle) the rsx is the best bang for buck. the TL is a better car without question though. there are reasons why it's 10G's more than an rsx. people looking to save money don't usally look at acura's, that's what honda's for.

the 05 rsx has 210 hp , but also weighs a couple hundred pounds more , so that kinda takes away from the added hp
