Idle is VERY off

i dont know the generations but i do know it is the last model before the new ones(the uglyones) to start it i need to give it gas, and the idle is so off that if i ever let off the pedal it will shut off(no gas) where and how do i adjust this?

i have a 6th gen. 7th is a POS, 6th is the shit, but my idle is still off! the 6th looks beautiful, and looks dont mean anything if i cant drive it the way it was made to be driven. help me please!

I like 6th too but *sniff* I think you hurt my 7th gen.

You probably have a "Check Engine" light on in the dash. Get someone like TrakAuto to get the codes off the connector. These will give you a good clue as to what is wrong. You probably can't affect the idle directly.

Sorry Canton, but i had a 7th gen. it is in heaven. My daily driver is a Supra =) , so I can say toyota makes no bad vehicles, I was wrong for my insult. I bought the car like this for 500$ form an old lady whos son died. It is a 1997 special ediition. Like I said, I bought it and it was like this, so it wasnt all of a sudden. Fix my idle! I dont like doing it with the pedal.
