No it hasn't been lowered yet.... but I think it will be soon...
instead of taking the engine out you might be able to adjust where the wheels mount to the chassis, thus droping the whole car instead of just droping the body.

Cool project, I have this model as well. I was thinking about starting on it, but decided to build a Supra model instead. Keep us up to date!

Well, I got some paint on it yesterday!! I am not pleased with the color, It is a little too dark for what I was looking for!! It does not resemble Cobalt Blue at all IMHO!! Let me know what you think?!?

see my biggest problem with this kit when i built it was that the side skirts are a lot lower thank the front bumper and rear bumper. so even when the car is really lowered it still looks high from dead on. kinda goofy looking, so u have to give it an agressive racked stance.

I like the blue. A little dark for what you wanted but it'll still look really good with the black interior.

Betcha that color is what you expected if you take it outside on a sunny day! No matter, the color suits the car well!

And it's still all your fault that I've got this Saleen coupe on my desk...
