Re: lowering springs or coil overs???

Well theres alot of brands out there for various prices.. im not a expert on any of them but if i were to buy some right now id lean towards a eibach sportline or something... just remember if you lower your car have the alingment done with camber, toe, the works or you might end up with some balled tires..

cheap ebay coilovers have a rougher than shit ride and they tend to "bounce", i'd go with some ground control coilovers, they'll run you around 300 (i think) but it's definitely worth it, MUCH MUCH nicer ride and they don't "bounce", very good springs.

Re: lowering springs or coil overs???

DO NOT go for ANYTHING cheap when it comes to a car part that will affect your engine/safety/suspension geometry/ structural integrity etc.... getting cheapo boost gauges is one thing, but getting cheapo coilovers (though not TOO serious) is a waste of money...your springs WILL sag over time and you will waste all that money when you coulve waited a little longer for the good stuff...... check out www.dsmreviews.com for opinions and product reviews.

Springs, Eibach's don't sag anywhere near what the competition goes thru....ground control coilovers, Tein basic susp. systems, are good high end brand names. if you want to do the cheapest thing, get a RevoTechnica camber kit, Eibach Prokit, and Tokico HPs... many wont consider this "cheap", but this is the first level in the "good quality" ladder.

I have the Eibach sportline springs and I am extreamly happy with the look of my GST and the handling is amazing. Deffinitly worth every penny! Just thought i'd throw in my 2 cents
