02' Mustang GT Vs. 03' SRT-4

Could the SRT-4 banger annililate the Mustang GT or will American muscle V8 power blow the SRT-4 away??

This is a very good match, stock-for-stock I'd say it's a driver's race.

close race.....hmmm straightline i think the GT would have it though. The suspension is like one huge welded-together piece and it can handle the torque better, so it would probly launch faster

Re:

Indeed a good matchup, would be interesting to watch
Though really slow :P (been spoiled by top fuel)

From my experience stock mustangs aren't very fast anymore

Your experience is wrong. The stock Mustang GT has never been faster. Not that the 4.6 SOHC is better than a 5.0 OHV (it is in some regards, I guess).

Re: 02' Mustang GT Vs. 03' SRT-4

If you mean that they aren't fast compared to modded 'Stangs, that's not really true either. Most 'Stang buyers don't mod their cars very much, and the ones who do usually get 5.0 'Stangs.
