rear clip

I just recieved my jdm 3sgte rear clip. On the ecu it says 3sgt is this the right ecu. where is the engine code listed on the block. Anything to look for to determine if it is a jdm motor. just trying to make shure everything is what i ordered. thanks

If its a JDM motor it should have the CT20b turbo rather than the CT26. Unless the person swaped out the turbos...

if it doesn't have EGR it's jdm look on the intake manifold.

CT20b came in the 3rd gen clips. So if this guy got a 2nd gen clip (most common sold) he'd see the ct26.

So ultimately, Dan S has the right answer Look for the EGR.

Yeah it is a second gen and has the ct26 but does anyone know if the harness that goes to the babin with the speedometer, starter wires and stuff is the same as the usdm plug. Because i need the wiring diagram so when i go to put it in i know what wires need to goto what. Would a toyota dealership have the jdm wiring diagram if needed. Thanks for any help.

i cant get registered there for some reason to search on there forum. It says i have but never sends the confermation email or anything. So if there is a link to the diagram on there can you post it on here.
