Grand Cherokee problem
i have a 95 grand cherokee laredo, 6 cyl...and today had the engine light come on while driving (60mph). Pulled over, stopped, light went off...but now seems that car is lagging on acceleration, and has high idling at start up. Also has tremendous low idling at stop lights etc. Have had the fuel pump replaced(2 yrs ago), exhaust and cat conv. one month ago, and have had regular maintenance. just had the thing inspected two days ago however, could this be an influence? Also, when checking codes got a 12 and a 24..think the 12 is "no output shift sensor"...if this is true, anyone got any direction?

Re: Grand Cherokee problem
The idling may be a sticky IAC valve. Not sure about the codes though
