Mines called Whistler 1730 and it works beutifully, it even beep if cops are within a mile. its $175 but worth it!!!

Yeah you're not going to find a Good radar detector for $70-80. Cheapest I've seen for a decent one was around $130-140.

I was tlaking to a cop one time when i got pulled over and basically he said by the time our radar goes off that any cop thats clocking u will have u on there radar..thats just my .02 but i dont know if it is true..anyone know...

yeah that probibley is true i just like how mine beeps if cops are nearby then i know to take alittle extra precaution.

Yeah it's true, unless you have a crazy good one. One with a mile range like above might work, but you'd have to down shift and/or pull the e-brake to slow down quick (I say the e-brake because it won't put your brake lights on, which would give the cops a reason to know you were clearly speeding).

YEa lol i do that stuff all the time with e-brake its a good method, then you see all these peeps ahead braking hard and almost locking them up thats so funny..
