want turbo for lancer
I plan on getting turbo for my lancer ES, but i dont know how im gonna put it in. my homie that drives an sti said i might blow out the engine if i dont do it right... so do i need any other stuff besides a turbo for change the engine?

you'll need a wastegate (could use stock one if you're not getting a really wild turbo) and you should definateley get a dump valve/sequencial blow-off valve and by the way we don't say "homie" if you want to be respected by the other member then use all correct english and they'll appreciate that

thier turbo kits are designed to work on stock internals. My friends lancer runs about 7-11 psi on a custom set up, and is perfectly fine. he blew his engine running at around 20 though. so don't go nuts.

no prob dude. just go to the site, click on products, then click on the lancer where it says "MITSUBISHI LANCER OZ, LS, ES 2002-2004", then scroll down t owhere it says "powertrain" and it's the 3rd or 4th item down there.

the one you posted looks good. but road race teste dfor over a year to make sure thier turbo kit was reliable. i'm not saying the other one isn't though. plus one of the biggest factors is the install. a quality install makes a huge difference. the friend i reffered to in my previous posts has a cusotm kit similar to the one you posted, and it works nice.

depends on the amount of boost you run. the RRM kit running at about 7-8 lbs gives you around 220 at the wheels i believe. that's not a garuntee though. proper tuning is nessacary to get the max power out of it.
