weird situation with the driver's lock

For some reason, the keyless entry on my 2000 EX 4DR doesn't lock or unlock the driver's side front door. The keyless works, because all of the other doors lock and unlock when I push the appropriate buttons, and the alarm signals with a quick honk when it is armed. The key will unlock it and when I am inside and push down the lock, all the doors lock, but I am unable to lock or unlock that door with the keyless remote. Any suggestions?

Yes. Understand that there might be a simple problem that I am overlooking, as I have only had the car for a week. So, it might be as simple as, "Hey, moron, do this." And I won't be offended, I just want to be able to remotely lock and unlock the car.

I'm thinking the relay burned out?

Re: weird situation with the driver's lock

I'm thinking that the "driver's unlock only" feature is messed up on the keyless.

Re: weird situation with the driver's lock

Is there any way to undo that option or check to see what's wrong with it?

Re: weird situation with the driver's lock

not that I am aware of. You would need to know the schematic of your vehicle. Usually there are separate relays for the drivers door and the rest of the doors. It is quite complexing that it will unlock all the others and not the drivers. Yes, it could be something like I could figure out but really should be left to the dealer.
