hi,
ok here's the deal. i bought a short shifter for my 99 civic ex 5 speed d16y8, the thing is it says it is for a 96-98 integra. i dont know if it is for a gsr, ls or what but its kinda got me worried cause i have no clue as to if it fits my car or if the jackass sold me something ill never get to use. i have had it over a year so returning it isnt an option anymore i guess. my question is will it fit and are there any picture instructions as to how to istall it. it is a bit longer than my stock shifter (compared it to my 96 ex's stock shifter) and i worry that i also will have to have my exhaust lowered 3/4" to get it to fit without hitting the exhaust piping. it is a toucan make as far as i can tell, my lazy ass didnt ask for the packaging just the product. well anywho thanks for your concern and keep me posted. sgt. scott maxwell |

Re: will a 98 integra short shifter fit a 99 civic sohc?
It'll fit. I'm not sure if its gonna hit the exhaust but if it does you gonna have to adjust exhaust piping.
