1989 Pathfinder cold idle hunting

My Pathfinder is giving me this problem of the idle fluctuating from 1000-2000 RPM when you first start it cold. It goes away after a couple of minutes or when you put it into gear.

I have tried bleeding the cooling system to remove any possible air pockets & replaced the coolant temperature sensor because I know Honda's will do the same thing & those fix the problem.

But it has not worked here.

I am concerned that it may be a computer issue.

Any ideas?
