Question Dupli Primer Tamiya Paint?

I was just wondering if anyone has tried duplicolor primer with Tamiya sprays? How are the results?, so broke right now that i can't even afford tamiya primer!!!

I do it all the time. No problems yet. Tamiya primer is a ripoff.

is duplicolor made for real cars or models. Tamiya sprays are made to be thin so it is to scale.

I personally only use duplicolor primer, I've never had a problem with it being out of scale. Plus plasticoat makes primer in the little touch up bottles that can also be thinned if that's what you want to do with it.
It's all a matter of prefrence, I can't find tamiya primer around here that is not way overpriced so i use duplicolor. It is a whole lot easier and i have like 4 autoparts stores within 10 miles of my house, not to mention walmart.

and to answer your question tikiman.... duplicolor is made for fixing paint on cars, but works lovely for models.
