Front Clip Confusion

I'm a little confused,

When you get a front clip for the engine swap do you keep the front end of your car and just swap the engine stuff or do you swap the whole front end of the car?

Sorry for this Newbie questions but I tried searching it and couldn't find my answer.

you just swap whats inside the front cut. Good thing about 240sx's is most of the holes that are in the Japanese models are on the domestic ones too, Excluding the intercooler piping.
