1989 Cadillac Brougham

I am currently looking at an '89 Brougham that has 76,000 miles on it... I am wondering how long this car would probably last if i took care of it, this would be my first car and I have always wanted a sharp looking cady. This car supposivley is a "Vintage loaded Caddy driven by a little old lady and garage kept." I looked at a pic and it looks pretty good on the outside. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 1992 Cadillac Brougham

Could you post the pics?
Otherwise, this car will last a long, long time if you keep the rust off it.
Their weaknesses were front ball joints that wear out prematurely, and the odd electrical gremlin.
Otherwise the engineering was traditional and generally all the bugs were worked out of the design in earlier years.

You should doubble check if the car has 76k or 176k on it. Take the vin and put it into www.carfax.com I belive it should tell you general info about it. Also how much are you going to pay for it and is the interior in good condition?
