Exclamation Broken crank (1985 Chevrolet S10 Blazer )

New to the forums here.

Anyhow im looken at buying a 1985 Chevrolet Blazer, It is Perfect other then a bad 2.8 V6 (broken crank). Now i do know soem what about engines and the guy is willing to sell the Blazer to me for about $375 dollars. Im just wondering if over all if it is worth I know the crank is a like the heart of the engine. Right now just asken to see if its worth it and what could cause the Crank to break. (also how easy is it to fix such a thing)

A rebuilt long block will probably run you approx. $1000 - $1500 by the time your finsihed, if you do the R&R yourself. In the end, the 2.8 engine is too small for the truck. Don't waste your money.

Waste of money, walk away.

2.8L is gutless anyways and is really hard on gas seeing it works so hard.
