Shows for Kids

Now i know not all of you do this but, how many of you still watch the occasional(?) cartoon once in a while? From all the time i have spent watching the tube, i have notice a slight decline in the way the show get messages across. Some shows are so idiotics that i just shake my head and wonder who on earth came up with this. Also, I've noticed they have been redoing a lot of shows from some time ago. Such shows as Transformers, Care Bears and even Heman. The remakes suck in my opinion. They even replace good old shows with stupid ones in their place. They got rid of Little Bear and Swat Cats and the original Power Rangers. And have you noticed that i nthe pasted few seasons that they have returned to some of the older storylines? Well, that is all for now. Feel free to flame or add or just gander.

Re: Shows for Kids

I have definately noticed. My daughter is 2 and we watch cartoons together every saturday and sunday, and sometimes during the week. The larger network cartoons suck. we usually watch cartoon network or the disney channel.

Re: Shows for Kids

Anyone remember Rocko's Modern Life?

Not too old, but I think it was the greatest cartoon ever.

Dungeons n' Dragons, Voltron, Robotech, and the original versions of He-Man and Transformers. Don't forget Thundercats, and Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors too.
