do i need new shocks with springs?

i just wanted to know if i would need to get some new shocks if i got lowering springs on my type-s

I wouldn't think so, and even if they do wait until your stock shocks blow before buying aftermarket shocks.

I would think that only the GC and Skunk2's need new shocks.

If you want to lower and know for sure that there'll be no shock problems, get the A-Spec springs, or see if your dealer warantees Comptech or Mugen parts.

Coilovers = Adjustable springs and shock combo.

However, the GC and Skunk2 "coilovers" aren't actual coilovers despite the fact they are adjustable.
