2000 Nissan Maxima - Difficult Acceleration

Hi,

When I bought the car at 30,000 miles, it ran very smooth. Now I just got its 50,000mile servicing done, and still runs fine. But it has a sluggish start and some times accelerating becomes a pain. I really have to press hard on the accelerator to speed it.

I have always changed the required fluids regularly after every 3000 miles. I would apprecite if someone could explain the same and the solution to me.

Thanks
Venkat

Check your ECU for ghost codes; your knock sensor may need replacing.
