Curious
Me and my dad are thinking about buying a 240 shell and building it up from the ground as a project for us. Anyways i need some info on the s13 and s14 motors what models and years wiil they fit into and will a s14 red top bolt directly to the early models like 89-94. If we want to make 400+hp will we need to build up the bottom end. Please don't bite my head off i don't know much about the 240sx i'm a honda person

Re: Curious
ouch well welcome to nissan, and sr20's and ka's can handle 400 hp on stock bottom end, but its still "wise" to go ahead and build it up with some aftermarket peices.

If you're really serious about doing this, read the FAQ in this forum. It will help you alot.
400 to the wheels? Metal head gasket, bigger turbo/boost control, more fuel, FMIC, lots of luck. If you want to take the time and money to build the bottom end, you won't need nearly as much luck.
