95 Blazer trailer wiring

I have resently purchased a trailer to tow behind my Blazer and pluged the wiring harness in and nothing. I checked the wires leading to the wiring adaptor in the back of my truck and they were all cut. I went and purchased another adaptor and know can't get the lights to function properly. Does anyone know what each wire does? There is a Yellow, Brown, Dark Green, Light Green, and White wire.

Yes the brown is your running lights-the green is right-yellow is left-white is ground. good luck.
