Tsi And Esi Block Dif?

hey i know that the tsi and the esi compression is diff but is the block any different or is it all in the head im just wondering because i have a 91 awd tsi with a cracked block and i found a 92 non turboed talon for sale for 300 with a bad head will the block out the 92 work in my 91 awd tsi or is it a no go?

1st gen nt and turbo blocks are the same. i think the rods may not be as strong though. ask jake(eclipseRST) he probably knows
