88 Z24 Fan Belt Change
Im looking for an east way to change a fan belt on this car..Getting it off is no problem.. but I always have a heck of a time to get it back on..Is the some kind of tension adjustment on this car? Thanks

your car has a spring loaded belt tensioner. IT has a square hole cut in it that a 3/8" drive ratchet fits into. Follow your belt routing leaving the alternator until last, put the ratchet in the tensioner and pull up, loop the belt over the alternator and release the tensioner. done. NOTE- some of these cars are a tight fit, and you may have to use a flex handle or special serp belt tool if there isn't clearance between the frame and tensioner to get your ratchet in there. All cars have serp belts these days, you may want to invest in a Serp belt tool, makes the job much easier
