Interior parts painting

How do some of you all paint your interior parts? Do you paint them with a brush, Airbrush, or out of a can? The reason I ask is because on my next coming up models which are about 3 plus I plan on getting the escalade, I want them to look really good. I guess I would also be asking what would be the best to do as well. I have paint brushed the paint on. It comes out good, but lately its been coming out crappy like the paint doesnt want to stick to the pieces. I prep them and wash them in mild detergent and scrub them abit to get the surface area ready. Thats what I have always done.

I personally airbrush anything I can because it looks neat.

Airbrush too. it's nearly impossible do to a good result with brush painting (you will always see brush stroke)

As for me I use airbrush or can. The outcome is way cleaner and even.

Airbrush or rattle cans, much neater and by far quicker. Just ordered dull red (TS 33) for interior work, can anyone tell me what shade of red it is.

me... i brush paint. i use enamel and sometimes i get brush marks and sometimes i dont. it usually depends on how much paint is on my brush. recently i think i have been getting good results. i spray large areas with spray cans but thats about it for interiors.

I dont think spray cans are "neat". They use 3 times the paint of an airbrush to get the same finish.

Well if you dont have an airbrush a spray can is the only way to go in my opinion then.

Airbrush for all the parts and then, oil paints for seats and doorpanels to simulate leather.

I hate having to thin out the paint all the time when I do use the airbrush. I just use it on the body and thats it. I brush paint everything else. Ill have to try the technique used in the how-to section with holding them up with a stick and using puddy and try maybe some can paint and spray lightly. Right now Im stuck on the rear part of my 510 datsun it shouldve been done like months ago but the times Ive airbrushed it sucked badly. I guess Im going to have to find that color in can spray to finally get this kit done with. I have the watanabe's and everything just need to get that rear back part painted.

I use a spray can to paint everything, I will use brush paints for detailed items (like techs, radio buttons, numbers on shifters) but almost everything will get sprayed, I used to have an airbrush, but I could'nt stand it, it took to much time to mix, and thin, then, paint, then clean, too much work for me.

Correct me if Iam wrong but Modelmaster does make a line of paints that are already thinned?
