Whats Better?

Whats better guys Meachanical or Electric Gauges. I really need an Oil Gauge and a Water Temp Gauge. So whats best to get? Electric or Mechanical.

mine are all mechanical they work fine

I've used nothing but mechanical and had good luck. Electrical gauges are getting better every year but I still like being able to read everything without a power supply to screw it up.
