adjusting my skunk 2s

I bought my car with skunk 2s on it and i wanted to lower it some more, its only down like an inch, my question is, when i tried to adjust the fronts, there is the big ass metal cup plate that surrounds the bottom of the coilovers, now do i have to take the whole strut down, and if so what else do i have to unbolt besides the top three strut bolts under the hood?

I don't know, but try clubrsx. They have a lot of postings in their suspension forum regarding lowering.

Re: adjusting my skunk 2s

You have to create an account on clubrsx.com. It is a totally different forum than automotiveforums.com, so you need an account on their website.

Then you should be able to post after logging in without a problem.

What's your username on ClubRSX? Maybe you didn't activate the account?

Re: adjusting my skunk 2s

Hmmm search revealed nothing.

I ICQ'd an admin to see what he thinks may be wrong.
