Re: times for the 300zx tt

i don't know 0-60 time, but i know the TT is low 14s high 13s. if the supra is n/a, then you could beat it, if it is a supra tt, then it would be a close race. the trans am would also be a close race.

Re: times for the 300zx tt

I've seen Z32TT 0-60 times quoted from 5.6 all the way down to 5.2 seconds. These things vary...they aren't always the same. There are hundreds of factors that have an effect on this.

If all cars are stock, you'll be fine. You'd run right with a TT Supra and be fine with the TransAM...unless it's a Formula...then you'll get spanked. Those are some FAST fuckers right there...do a few mods to the Z and you'll run with anything on the road.

Bottom line: A stock Z32TT will hold it's own just fine against the vast majority of factory cars on the road.

Re: times for the 300zx tt

i believe the at loses a bit more hp through the drivetrain.. so i'm guessing around 5.6-5.8 for the 0-60 and probably a low to mid 14 on the quarter... get yourself a popcharger, exhaust(borla is one of the most popular) and JWT ecu and you'll spank them all.. after all that you should be around 380-400 bhp

Re: times for the 300zx tt

i herd that the at holds more boost cuz u never let off the gas....would that make it faster in the quarter or 0-60?

Re: times for the 300zx tt

read this thread http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=274700. we just had a huge discussion on AT vs. MT. don't feel like going through all of it again.

yeah read that forum that FREAK linked you too. but auto vs. 5 speed isnt a huge deal. auto loses a little hp through drivetrain nothin too spectacular but it makes up for it with holding boost when shifting. also if you get an auto invest $250 in a HKS ALC (automatic line controller). it would be the best thing you bought for your auto tranny.
