trouble codes

My sister had a tech run a check on her 1995 Continental because the engine shut off when she turned on the ac. When she picked it up she was told they couldn't find anything wrong. She asked for a printout of the test and was told there was none since hher car didnt store codes. does it store codes or not.

Re: trouble codes

Not too sure of the Conti. The 1995 Town Cars are fully OBDii compliant.

Could be the Tech meant, "there were no stored codes" ?
