Any one who wants to do a TT swap read
This is the site of someone on Cardomain.com that did his N/A to TT engine swap for under $900. Everyone says how $$$ it is and how much work it is. Yeah it's probably going to be a lot of work but would you be asking about it if you didn't want to spend a lot of time working with your car. also every one that says to just sell your N/A Z and get a TT, my Z only has 45K miles and is real clean the paint is still awesome after 14 years. There are very few Z where I live and the TT's that are even close to me are either 140K miles and would need a lot of engine work and some new turbos and looks like a &$&T box or cost $25K. Had to say it and good luck to all the N/A Z's going to do the swap. Hope this can help.

Um..right...so if you if you are a new NA owner who just happens to have a very clean NA (I can't see how you would sell anything off it anyother way) to sell $1700+ dollars work of parts off of, extremely good connections in the Z community, experience doing engine swaps and plenty of VG work under your belt (he had owned it for 2 1/2 years) and a place to work on the car not to speak anything of the tools (and you will be needing more than a rachet set and a pair of pliers) then hey, you're good to go.
For the rest of humanity, who will have to buy everything from complete strangers and pay someone to work on it in their shop, start saving your cash. Sometimes it is the better option but its not going to be a loophole to turbo goodness. Not trying to be a dick. Just thought I would bring that up. EDIT: Also, why does he have two boost gauges...I know one is bar and one is psi but...why... Also...I don't get the lack of TT badges and hidden boost gauges when you have a full set of charge pipes and twin blow off valves dead center in the engine bay. And the intercoolers sticking out the front. If you don't open your hood then great, otherwise... One thing that TT owners who want more performance out of their cars should take note of is the NA 4.083 gears in the back vs the TTs stock 3.692 rear end. Knocks about 20 mph off top end but who needs to do 190 anyway?
