Ok i just installed dropzone springs
All I heard was they suck and NO I DIDNT GET COILOVERS but I got lowered springs..my neighbor who basically did the install was like hey for the most part a spring is a spring now coilovers it makes a difference but all I have to say is that they arent that bad..I mean my car is lowered so i expect a few more bumps and bounces becuz I lowered my car but I mean hell these springs arent bad and get thi I even have a blown shock on my passenger front...I didnt have a replacement and dont have the money but I had been riding on cut springs for almost 2 years and even they didnt ride bad so either Im not looking for a cadillac ride quality on a lowered car, some people just talk crap on thing they hear other people talk bad on like dropzone springs , not coilovers, or they are super picky in their ride quality they expect
Just wanted to throw out my opinion on these springs in case someone wants to lower their car and dont have a lot of jack to spend becuz in my case they dont ride bad at all and Im on stock 14" tires with a 2.5front and 2.25 rear drop |

Let me enlighten on something. Lowering springs are really no differant than sleeve type coilovers. The only differance is "coilovers" come with a height adjustable sleeve. BOTh come with springs, and in the case of Dropzone, probably the same spring for both, unless they offer a sport and race spring for the lowering ones. So saying coilovers make a differance, that's really not true, it's actually no different than a lowering spring, you can just adjust the height of the ride and usually the preload of the spring when the height is adjusted.
Did you install these on stock struts? If so I guarantee you that by this time next year if not much sooner, your opinion on them will change for the worse unless you upgrade the shocks as well. I don't know a single person EVER that didn't have a complaint once their coilovers/springs blew out their stock shocks. Plain and simple, they can't handle the increased performance of the lowering springs.

Re: Ok i just installed dropzone springs
My understanding was that coilovers, well atleast the cheaper ones suck becuz they dont have what lowering springs do which is progressive spring rate which allows for a better ride..as far as stock struts and all that after a year I was riding on cut stock springs, the person before me did this, for like 2 years and one of my shocks I guess has been blown and my ride was not that bad and my car was even lower than it is now, well they are about the same but now its a tad higher...so maybe in a year it will get worse but maybe not I mean maybe some people thk that the littlest bump means that its a crap ride I dunno my point was just that compared to cut stock springs that Ive had for 2 years which even they didnt ride bad these dont ride bad either and trust me Ive had cars that rode like ass in the past so I know what a crap ride is...just my opinion for now atleast

Ehh true somewhat. Yeah most sleeve coilovers don't have progressive springs, but my Teins don't either, yet they ride better than ANY other sleeve type or even progressive type lowering spring suspension setup complete with good quality shocks that I have ever rode on. When it comes to the best ride feel and maximum performance, it's all about matching the spring specifically to a matched shock. That's what true full coilover systems are all about. You can't match the quality and comfort with a spring/sleeve coilover and shock combo, it just can't be done unless you're custom ordering some Eibach springs and perfectly custom valve matched Koni shocks.
