cd player problems for a 2001 sunfire

I recently bought a 2001 sunfire and the cd play/radio doesnt work i cannot hear sound. supposedly the guy took it out to put it on another car but put it back on. because i believe the theft system is on. how do i make it work. no cd player is boring on rides please help me.thanx in advanced.

Its possible that it is not hooked up poperly.
The theft probably is on, since the module is in the deck. I'd phone the dealer and see what they say. Maybe they can turn off the theft, they should be able to if they can get the unlock code for the decks.
