anybody running on blank Brembo rotors?

Well its the time to change the brakes , The Tirerack sells blank Brembo rotors for $64 front and $40 rear, those are great prices !, The dealer sells Ac delco rotors for $142 fronts and $93 rear a piece !
Along that - Tirerack have decent selection of ceramic pads.
I might go with Satisfeid pro performance OEM pads for $39 front and $27 rear.

Any opinions on those blank Brembo rotors?

what rotors and pads you guys recomend for normal city driving on stock rims.

thanks

IronKrakus.

Re: anybody running on blank Brembo rotors?

I have ceramic brake pads and whatever NAPA's best quality rotor is, my Aurora STOPS!!. The ceramics do squeak if the car has sat a week and in reverse once in a while, don't care for this kind of control.

Thats on all four brakes.

Re: anybody running on blank Brembo rotors?

stainless steel brake lines are all about pedal feel.

Fading is all about the quality of brakes..
I checked into it, no one has a kit to buy, you can have them made however.

A local speed shop would do it for 160 for me.

Re: anybody running on blank Brembo rotors?

I dont have brembos on my car, but I do have a set of Rototech cross drilled and slotted rotors, with Wagner ThermoStop ceramics, they seem to be workin great for me

Re: anybody running on blank Brembo rotors?

The fronts were installed in May, the rears about 1.5 months ago. The back tires squeak in reverse when they are cold, but thats it.

$100 CDN for the front rotors, $110 CDN for the rear, $160 CDN total for 4 sets of pads.

Best mod I have done, its one thing to go fast, its another to stop fast.
