my wife's driver side headlamp has a half inch crack and a pencil-lead sized hole which is allowing water to seep in and kill the bulb within days every time I replace it. I've looked at the headlamp and can't figgure out how to remove it, I'm hoping once I get it off I can drain the water and seal the crack. does anyone know if this will work and/or have any advice on how to remove the headlamp? thanks!

Hi if you take out the grill you should be able to drill under the headlight into the plastic and drain that way without removing the unit then just use a water proof clear silicon to patch the crack. I don't know if your Country allows that for a warrant of witness or not! I hope this works. also if the light does leak again it will automatically drain through the hole in the bottom of light.
