Updates:

UPDATES: (56k users beware)

I guess its a little late warning those 56k users. There are 15 pics to come.

Well, I got tired of cross members being welded in the wrong place or falling down while Im welding. So, I made a jig. A $30 jig. Went to St. Lowes this Sunday morning and bought some 16Gage, square tubing, and round bar and built myself a shitty jig that works.

I am also happy to say we finally got a bigger argon bottle. Wooooo-Hoooo!!! Twice the size for the same price as half the size (for refills).

Eh, here are the pics.

You 56K'ers are lucky, the pic that should go here is bigger than your monitor.

And now some dark shots with the big-ass motor.

.

Well, at least with the jig I can go ahead and make my templates for the front cross member and order another $10 of steel tubing.

Enjoy!

Wow, it's actually coming along! Very good work. Looks great. Perhaps you should just forget the body and make a model rolling chassis? J/K, great work!

Re: Updates:

It looks real. You've certainly come a long way Mike. And ever little bit shows. Is the transmission still in primer?

The trans to the engines? Bolts and partial miracle....I still gotta make that stupid flange, and starter cover.

Updates:

UPDATES:

Well, I have to say, there may finally be a chance of getting this complete for NNL. As willimo would say, "your turbo has finally spooled up", meaning Im finally kicking ass on this project. Tonight was the first night I have had extra time, I ran out of shit to weld.

I welded in a few more cross members. I need to build my engine mounts, and front suspension before I attacch many more cross members (I need to see where the drive shaft runs into). So I guess I'll be making my front crossmember soon. I need to talk to my machinist about how long it will take for my shocks.

I'll shut up now.

I really appreciate all your comments guys, I couldnt have gotten this far without y'all.
