Tryin to put a kick ass S14 together! HELP!

'llo. This is Trev, and as it is plainly see i am in need of assistance and advice. I have a choice on which engine to choose for my S14, these are my options: the sr20det, the rb25det, and the ca18det, i'm still pretty much a nOOb when it come to engines, i know the sr20 is the traditional silvia engine and i think the rb is a skyline motor is it not? help me please, thanks!

yes the rb is the skyline engine. if you have the money get the rb25det. but also what are your plans for the car? is it going to be a drag car or is it going to be a drift car. if you are going to use it for drift then go for the sr20det. the sr20det will be cheaper then the rb25det to install.

hope the helps.

I'm not quite sure actually, that was going to be my next question, see this is a new thing for me, putting a car together, and i have no clue what to put in to make it do what i want, i was thinking something basic like a turbo, maybe a twin, and cold air intake 550cc injectors or something like that

you can't have a twin turbo, not enough air to spool them both. you don't want a cold air intake with a turbo. the longer the intake the longer boost takes.

Well, if you wanna drift, and if you are a begginer, just do some basic things. Like, clutch upgrade, exhaust system, intercooler, overboost stock turbo. If your drifting you want to break your traction fast, so stay with a smaller turbo, like the stock one. Untill you get use to driving the car. The most important thing in drifting is having good suspension. Coilovers, struts, sway bars.
