sugar in the gas tank

AAAHHH!!! someone put sugar in my gas tank.... i have an 89 mazda 323 and someone poured sugar in my tank.... i drove the car about 20 miles before it finally died.... anyone know how i might fix this??? i heard you can change the fuel filter and thatll fix it... any ideas??

how much sugar was poured in? i'm really doubting changing ur fuel filter would help cus if it dissolved in the gas then changing ur fuel filter wont do anything. you should go get ur gas tank flushed. there are shops that do that kinda stuff. then u should change ur fuel filter and get some of that fuel system cleaner stuff to clean out ur injectors.
