Yeah this thread is old but a little help from across the ocean!! If a daily driver with 300+ HP in a 180sx or 240sx, its quite easy. First see if you can dish out the money for an S14 turbine (big difference), 550cc injectors, and some 264 cams, and a lightly tuned ECU and there you go over 300hp. There are other roads too, like a Z32 MAF, a power fc, or e-manage, manifold (highly recommend), turbine outlet (highly recommend), remove your cat and add a straight pipe, have a metal shop weld up an exhust for you from the down pipe back. Metal Headgasketsintake manifold, and etc....

Re: Can S13 SR20DET handle 400whp
or you can go bolt ons... i have clutch/flywheel/underdrive pulleys/header/big exhaust/test pipe/ecu
should be good for about 270-280whp (14psi)... might cost a little more but its less fuel and less strain on the engine. im thinking with some 555's z32 maf, extra tuning and possibly a set of cams, i can hit 300whp on stock turbo. maybe i just like doing things the hard way
