Cost of the War is said to be around 128 billion dollars.
....or $4,267 per citizen of Iraq to liberate them.

Here is what you and each citizen got for that $4,267

1. No more mass graves

2. No more rapes by Hussein's sons

3. No more lush palaces built with money supposed to be used to buy food

4. No more impressment into the service of Hussein's army to wage war on neighboring countries

5. No more threat of Iraqi helicopters gassing your village

6. No more threat of being drug out into the street and being shot for no reason

7. No more sanctions against your country by the UN

8. Hope that peace, freedom, and democratic ideals will root

9. Hope that Iraq will become prospersous and take its rightful place in the community of nations

10. No more terrorists using your country as a training base

11. No more money being funneled to terrorist groups instead of improving conditions for its own citizens


Sounds like a bargain.

Did I miss anything? Maybe it was an even bigger bargain.

13,000+ = number of dead Iraqi civilians.

900 or so, and rising = number of dead American sons and daughters.

That's not even including the 12-thousand-or so Americans that have been injured, including those that have permanent disabilities.

I didn't even mention the Coalition soldiers that died, as I know you are SO patriotic, and only care about the Americans in this war, right?

Now what if it was a Democrat that authorized this war? I know LBJ was, and still is, widely rebuked by Republicans for his support of the Vietnam War.
