Angry Random starter problems Problems

hey.... heres the thing... i drove my car to the store, went shopping, and 2 minutes later go back to my car. i turn the key and the car stared. when i took my hand off the key the car stalled. so i tried again.. and the starter wouldn't even kick over. there is no vroom sound from the electric starter, and my odometer doesn't even work when the car is in the "on" position??? i figured it was a fuse, but when i checked them all, they were all fine. what i was wondering was if anyone else has any problem like this, or if anyone knows how to fix it???? it is a 2000 monte carlo SS with 140,000 miles on it... there must be a problem from the key right????

Re: Random starter problems Problems

I had a similar problem, replaced the started only to find out it was my battery, had lights and it even tested ok, but the draw on the battery when starting the engine was not enough to crank the starter
