Re: 1/24 tamiya peugeot
well a bit more progress here i've started work on the engine; its a straight four from a 32 year old tamiya bmw kit (dont buy it it's terrible quality) and with the test fitting i decided it would be mounted lonitudinally to allow me to complete it easier and also so drive can go to the rear axle. have another picture:

Re: 1/24 tamiya peugeot
i scrapped the original exhaust manifold (header) in favour of a custom made one you can also see the air filter (air cleaner) which is a knob off an old VCR (thanks JCV electronics!) and that wierd thing with the braided lines is supposed to be part of the fuel system but it'll be covered.

Re: 1/24 tamiya peugeot
due to fitting problems the exhaust wont travel under the car an exit out undedr the rear bumper instaed it will exit out of the side in front of the wheel arch, so a custom exhaust system was needed and here it is:

Re: 1/24 tamiya peugeot
the braided lines are for the fuel and the one near the air filter is for the oil breather. i'll post more soon
