Two entries for the Lemans contest.

I will be working on these for the contest.

The 2002 Bentlley(lemans Min.) and the 79 Dome-0 RL(by Fujimi)

Great choice!
What a nice run-up we'll have at this contest. Everything is there!
For a while, I was considering the Dome as well, since I still have one sitting on my shelf. It's a nice kit (Fujimi Enthusiast!!) with a perfectly replicated Ford Cosworth engine. I like it a lot!

All the best, Marc

Re: Two entries for the Lemans contest.

Is that Bentlley 1/24? If it is it must have cost a fortune, but I like it a lot :-) This two will be great!

It is 1/24th scale by Lemans Miniatures. The primer is regular gray Krylon Primer. I wll seal it with Duplicolor sealer primer, then put on some Duplicolor Ford Dark Jade Green FM195 and some clear. I used this color on the 1/43 (PM) and it looks pretty good.

Re: Two entries for the Lemans contest.

Two more great entries but one of them creates a problem. The Dome I believe has an an engine and belongs in the full detail category but what about the Bentley? No engine but it does have opening doors, should it be considered curbside?

EDIT: Changed the title to fit in with all the other comp progress threads.

Re: Le Mans Contest Entry: 1979 Dome & 2002 Bentley

Great choices....I wondered if anybody would try that Bentley. I believe that a curbside model is defined as not having an engine,so that would make it a curside. Any body else have an opinion?

Also, Fujimi does offer a curbside version of the Dome Le Mans racer. Which is nice for those of us who look at that massive Cartograf decal sheet AND the usual Enthusiast Series level of complexity and wince.
