Sites on SR20
I was just wondering if anyone knew any good Sr20 sites that just have info on regular maintenece and it needed for the motor. I dont want to miss anything or mess anything up. I have a friend that has already gone through 2 turbos. First time he pushed it alot while breaking it in. Then there was something about doing something to the turbo itself before or while breaking it in. Any info will help, Thanks

Re: Sites on SR20
there's nothing to break in on a turbo. you just drive it.
maybe you're friend just got stuck with a couple bad turbos to begin with.

Re: Sites on SR20
There is a turbo break in period, just like all mechanical things with bearings. It may be a short period, but its still got one. Rule of thumb, drive it easy for 500 miles, then ease into the boost. The bearings have to "Wear" to each other.
