Fuel cut off switch

Is there a fuel cut off or interupter switch on a 89 350 TBI suburban and if so where is it located?

Thank You Gary

I don't think you have a fuel cut off switch. Ford has them, but I'm almost positive GM don't. Can you hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds when you turn the ignition to the on position?

Re: Fuel cut off switch

You might, however, have a fuse that is not easily seen. It is located right above the distributor connected to the fuel pump relay, screwed into the firewall. Just pull the connectors out one at a time and you may find the fuse burnt out. Possibility of a fuel pump going out. -Chris
