Rear rotor stuck

Doing rotors & pads on a 2002 TB with 44k. Fronts went ok, but rear is giving me a problem. There seems to be something hung up on the rotor when I try to pull it off. I'm using the two bolt holes in the rotor with 3/8 bolts to turn it off, but the rotor seems to be hung up at the top. The rotors toast, so I've tried hitting from the back but can't seem to free it up. Do I need to do something to free up emergency brake or something before taking the rotor off? Looking in back behind the shield it does look like something is being pulled out with it. Thanks for any help you can provide.

rear rotors

Turns out, what happens is when you pull the rear rotors the parking brake shoe gets hung up on the rotor, gets jamed and comes off with the rotor making this process somewhat difficult. This may because of three winters in the northeast and the salt used up here. Rust and corrosion on the edge of the rotor won't let it slide out. Basically you just spray brake cleaner on everything and put it back together . I didn't re-adjust the adjuster screw and the parking brake works fine. You won't be doing the caliper bolts with 3/8 ratchets. I used a 1/2 with about 12 inches of extra pipe on it to get the bolts off. Bolts are metric. You might want to learn to do these. My brakes were pulsing in the 30k range and totally shot in the 40k. The rotors were warped and rusted the worse I've ever seen, big chunks out of the rotor face and edges. No turning them. Chilton's is out for the 2002-2003 Trailblazer, that's how I found out I wasn't doing anything wrong by just yanking the rotor off without special tools.
