my girlfriend took her first breath today
dead
 and resurrected  about an hour after these pics we hooked up the maf, filled it with coolant and it started right up. p/s pump leaked bad (going to use ka pump and greddy pulleys), and coolant leak from line going to turbo, but other than that it's golden. i'll be driving her home sometime friday.

Good to see you got it running. I am glad to see another SR guy once again. I am tired of all the Haters. Going to run it at the track soon? Need to see some numbers.

i said i wouldn't go to the track until i get a boost controller, but i very well might. with the pulleys and current mods, along with an ecu i'll have coming ship out next week it should be enough for a 13.8-13.9 at stock boost.
before that happens though, i have to break it in then go for the almighty emissions test. after this next week it should be ready to roll bigtime.

thanks man. i have to give a lot of thanks to matt over at slick motorsports, he's the one that really did a great job, i just cleaned everything and got all the parts.

lol when i read the thread title i just thought to myself...your one sick mofo, but then i saw your girlfriend was the car so i was like, ooo i see i see!!! looks good man.
hmmm looks like you took her to the hairstylist and got rid of that red hair she had...brunettes are nice to though.

coolant line has been fixed. waiting for the greddy pulleys to come tomorrow. will be ready to drive home. can't wait!
