If you look at the basic structures of every major religion ever, you would find that the same principles and laws apply. I get mad when people say that 'you're wrong', or 'your religion is wrong', but what makes them so sure? And it seems to me that they have only been educated in their own religion and they don't consider others. No religion is wrong, but it seems like no one is going to admit that. Plus, my brother asked that question to a priest...he asked if one person follows another religion and leads a good life, do they go to heaven? The priest said 'no'...and that's a load of BS.

So I just try to follow the basic moral principles of Eastern Ways of Life (Confuciounism, Bhuddism, and Taoism). I just live my life to it's fullest and be a good person. I don't want to do it because I'm afraid God is going to punish me if I don't. I do good things because I know I'll be remembered longer after I'm dead.
There are a lot of the same basic principles in all religions. Basically the direction they want you to take with your life is to love everyone as you love yourself.
That's usually where they stop being the same. Many state that it takes works to earn your reward after you pass on from this life. Others state that you just have to follow the basic principle (stated above) to recieve your reward which may be to be reborn as a higher life form until you eventually reach narvana(sp?). One says you have to accept a savior that took your punishment for you to get your reward which is to spend eternity in heaven with him.
Although they all seem basically the same on the surface when it comes to living your daily life they are very different where it really matters. Where it really matters is where you end up and what you have to do to get there. Are you really positive that where you are going to end up really exist or is possible to get to given the direction you are heading? Are you positive that the place you think doesn't exist really doesn't exist so you don't have to do anything because you are just going to rot in the ground after you die? I think that's the big question. Where are we truely heading and how do we get there from here?

Besides being funny as heck, it relates directly to your post.

Why hotdogs are sold in packages of 10 and buns in packages of 12 so that you're forced to buy 60 of each to have enough of each so you don't have to substitute anything.

You're only feeding about 15 people most of time anyway, so you'll have a tonne left over which is a waste, and guaranteed someone will drop theirs so you'll be out-matched in the end anyway.

^ I went grocery shopping today, don't mind me!

Re: Boggles the mind..

Like someone said earlier, and what I think they were trying to get across is that, what if everybody is wrong??? What if there is nothing beyond. I mean some people believe that there is a scientific explaniation in everything (including me). I'm not saying that I'm not religious or anything. I'm catholic and I believe yes, but I'm just questioning. Yeah the whole "faith" thing. believe in what you can't see. But what if there is nothing beyond?? I sure hope there is... Some people say that they aren't afraid to die... Well, they are either extremely faithful, or extremely....well for lack of a better word, dumb. I for one am afraid to die. I want to enjoy my time here, and make it as long as possible. I just wish someone would know the answer. How would anybody ever know if anything was beyond?? It's almost impossible.

Not true at all. lol Its a proven fact human can only use up to 10-15% of there brain space/compasity. The most people like einstein etc have been able to achieve is at the most 20% of therir compasity if we would be able to use 100% of out brain compasity the world we be alot better or alot worse.

I agree. For something to extend forever is uncomprihendible by the human mind.
