I am needing new tires and shocks for my 1998 Rodeo with 110K. I am hoping anyone can let me know their good experience with tires that won't get choppy after 20K and shocks that seem to make the ride smoother. I also need clarification as to what type of Nippondenso spark plugs to use, or if that is the best type anyway. Any help would be appreciated!

2. I also replace stock shocks with monroe-matics. Did not notice a huge difference, but I have heard that the biggest difference will be felt on 98+ models. Mine's a 95.5. Many people swear these shocks make a huge difference. Try pep-boys. 3. Call St. Charles Isuzu (636-441-4481) for plugs. Lowest dealer prices (15% discount) and free shipping. I got NGK's from them cuz that's what came on my truck. Stcharlesauto.com. |

Re: Shocks, tires and spark plugs
I run Remingtons on the wifes Rodeo, seem to be ok.
Monroe Sensatracs You must use the Denso plugs, nothing else.

Bridgestone dueller AT REVO. I was going to buy Firestone destination Mt's, but the revo is rated best tire all round at tirerack.com. It has a good tread. I slammed on the brakes in the pouring rain and I could not set off the abs.
As for shocks, I have the monroe sensetracs. It is better than stock shocks, but I wish I had Rancho's, Pro comps or Old Man Emu shocks. John |

Toyo tires were installed when I bought my Rodeo. I've had 3 punctures repaired so far and they don't stay "shiny" very long after using tire finish on them. I don't think I'd buy a set of Toyos. I've run Cooper Discoverers in the past on my Trooper and was happy with them. I never had a puncture and they hold a shine much longer.
I'm going to install Monroe reflex shocks when I get some extra loot. NGK Iridium from www.clubplug.net Dale |

Re: Shocks, tires and spark plugs
My Bridgestone Revo's are the best tires i've ever had - even far superior, must say, then my set of BFG A/T KO's, in most all conditions.

I hear so much talk about spark plugs. I'm sure my 92 GM3.1L came with AC Delco's (not positive though) I've heard that the 93 and up 3.2L's use NGK's.
What are the factory standard plug for the rodeo's? (especially the 91-92 GM 3.1L's; as I'm concerned that my AC Delco plugs may not be working so well)
