Hey I want a temporary v-tec controller who knows how to hook up a msd rpm activation module to v-tec. I have a 89 crx si with a d16z6 swap.

Re: MSD RPM VTEC switch

Why not just use the z6 ECU to activate vtec?

Re: MSD RPM VTEC switch

the MSD unit will come with instructions.

You will need to wire in a 30amp relay as well to transfer the MSD switches negative trigger output to a positive 12v signal.

in reality, your fuel and ignition timing will not be 100% optimal for your VTEC engine (assuming you're running an OBD0 PM6, PM7, or PG7 ECU) but they will work fine enough for your purposes.
