Price Check: Rotors, Pads and Calipers $710?
My front rotors pads and calipers on my 95 SE Pathfinder are apparently warped. I just got a quote from a local mechanic for $710.00 for just the front end. Does this seem excessive? I thought so! I am wondering if I should take it to Midas or something....thoughts?
Thanks! R |

Have you tried to price out the rotors and calipers at a local auto parts or online . You may find them cheaper . Is he is doing the whole job installed and all for $710. It sounds a bit high for me .

Thanks. I decided to take it somewhere else for a second opinion. The first place charged me $40 for the $710 estimate. The second place I went fixed the front left rotor, replaced the pads, and it was only $380. I guess teh first place was trying to make a bit more work than was necessary...
